The Park Rynie Branch was established in 1977, through the efforts of our mighty spiritual leaders from Head Quarters and a few dedicated local members including the late Mr Rennie Moodley, Mr Marimuthu Naicker, Guru Francis Naidoo and his late wife Mrs M Naidoo who were towers of hope during the founding period.

Other members have also contributed in some way or the other towards the founding and success of the branch. It was also through the kind generosity of the late Mr Naina Naidoo that a venue was made possible for holding regular Sunday Services.

 

From this humble beginning, the Park Rynie Branch of the Saiva Sithantha Sungum was established. The following are some of the objectives of the branch:

• To instil in people Saivism and cultural awareness by participating in religious and cultural functions.

• To promote the Tamil language by offering Tamil Classes free of charge

• To render funeral and memorial services in the community
